About
Mangoes Hyderabad

Mangoes Hyderabad has been supplying carbide-free, naturally ripened mangoes across the city since 2018. Over the last 8 years, more than 10,000 regular customers have ordered from us. We stock 18 varieties through the Indian mango season and ship to 134 localities in Hyderabad, with same-day delivery for orders placed before 10 AM.

What "carbide-free" means

Calcium carbide is a ripening shortcut still common in parts of the informal mango supply. When it comes into contact with moisture it releases acetylene gas, which turns unripe fruit yellow within a day but leaves the pulp starchy and the flavour flat. Trace arsenic and phosphorus impurities in industrial-grade carbide have raised food-safety concerns, and its use on produce is prohibited under the Food Safety and Standards (Prohibition and Restrictions on Sales) Regulations, 2011.

Our mangoes reach you through the traditional route. Fruit is picked at physiological maturity, packed in breathable crates with dry paddy straw, and held at ambient warehouse temperature for three to six days until it ripens on its own ethylene. That is how mangoes ripen on the tree, and how a good mango should ripen in storage.

The 18 varieties we carry

Our catalogue covers early, mid, and late-season cultivars from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. Three of these varieties carry registered Geographical Indication (GI) tags: Alphonso (Ratnagiri Hapus, 2018), Banganapalle (2017), and Gir Kesar (2011).

How we source

Regional Andhra and Telangana varieties come from partner orchards within a few hours of our Madinaguda warehouse. Varieties with GI-protected origin (Alphonso, Kesar) and northern classics (Dasheri, Langra, Chaunsa) are sourced from their origin regions and transported.

Where we deliver

Our network covers 134 localities across Hyderabad, including Gachibowli, Madhapur, Kondapur, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Hitec City, Kukatpally, Miyapur, Uppal, Dilsukhnagar, Secunderabad, and Kompally. How we ship

Orders are packed in ventilated cartons with variety-appropriate padding so thin-skinned fruit such as Langra and Himayath does not bruise in transit. Our warehouse at 183, BHEL HIG Phase II, Manjeera Pipeline Road, Madinaguda holds each order for a short quality check before a local rider collects it. Serviceability is verified by pincode at checkout. If your pincode is outside the current radius, the cart will tell you before you pay.
